UNWIRED
STAY OFF THE GRID
UNWIRED is an offline communication app designed for trekkers and group travellers in areas with little or no network connectivity. It creates a local connection between nearby devices through a Bluetooth mesh network, allowing users to stay connected even when cellular or internet networks disappear.
The app only connects when nearby Bluetooth devices are available and requires the user’s permission to access and share their location. It does not rely on cellular networks to determine where a user is. It does not know the true identity of the user unless set to
unwired keeps essential communication alive without requiring you to get back on the grid.
